Just over four years ago I found out what my primary fear was about having and sustaining a mutual, healed and healing intimate marriage. The light went on, so to speak, and since then not only have I been standing on a fresh, new platform to live my life from, but what I give to other people helps them uncover their barriers to experiencing love as well.
We are raised with a lot of mixed messages concerning what a relationship is. Most of those misconceptions come from our fractured family lives and TV and from deep down in our subconscious. But today, more than in the past, people are seeking for meaningful connection, heart healing, hope, and freedom from the shackles of their minds. Fortunately, the answers are inside of you. It is no longer about measuring up, having the correct background, career or degree, mingling in the right crowds, speed dating or joining the perfect online dating community. The Law of Attraction is a powerful tool for positive realization in your life.
“God’s will for me is perfect happiness” This is a workbook lesson from “A Course in Miracles.” Sometimes I think spiritual people don’t think it’s perfectly natural to have wants, goals and aspirations. This is our inner creative impulse. Manifested in the image and likeness, it is part of who we are to have the drive to expand and manifest our desires in ways that are helpful to you. Being brought together in relationships is one of the ways we expand, heal, and remind ourselves of who we are. Oftentimes I have found my love relationship to be the base for blissful personal expansion, the mirror of my tender ego and opportunity to deeply let go and let God. It is all those things and so much more.
If having an intimate, lasting love relationship is something that calls to you, and once you get it that God wants you to be wonderfully fulfilled, creatively motivated, healed and happy, the single question left is “Why do you think you have not been successful?” The bottom line answer is fear. Fear comes in many different disguises, justifications, and excuses. In the end, we fear knowing ourselves as the love that we are. You can manifest wonderful Law of Attraction Relationships when you free yourself from fear and bondage.
It’s not un-spiritual to want love, sex, excitement, intimacy, laughter, and play. It is un-spiritual to suppress your passion and your talents. I understand about fear, I was one of the most resistant people I knew when it came to actually allowing my guard down. If you want to experience your life in intimate partnership you must take back your power, take 100 percent responsibility for your messes and ask for Spirit to drive. Obviously what you have been trying has not been working. Einstein said, “No problem can be fixed from the same level of consciousness that manifested it”. You must take yourself to a higher level. Fortunately we have support groups, trained professionals, counselors, coaches and even home study courses to help us see what is blocking us from building lasting loving relationships.
A loving, fulfilling intimate relationship is possible for anyone who wants it. Will it always be perfect? No. The ego would never allow you off the hook that easily. But I know for sure that what you are seeking is trying to find you. So get some support to help you move the blocks out of your way, and I wish you all the fulfillment your heart can contain.
